People who work under pressure environment always deal with stress because of many antecedents. Generally, in banking sector staffs are copingwith stress every day. It has negative effect on job performance. Researchers claim that there is a negative correlation between job stress and job performances. It shows that job stress will reduce the performance of an individual (Bashir, 2010). “In every organization and at every level

of management and workers an elevated average level of stress is to be found which mostly has an effect on employee’s job satisfaction” (as cited in Ramzan, 2013).
They also study about the importance of stress and how effects of it if the manager do not solve the problem. “Higher level of stress existed with no managerial concern for solution consequently lower the employee performance, staking business reputation and loss of skilled employees, these situations call to immediate concern from business management for employing effective stress management practices to boost employee satisfaction and overall employee performance”. (as cited in Athey, 2013).
Another study of Park (2007) show “high job strain was associated with reduced activities at work and taking at least one disability day during the previous two weeks;
active jobs were also positively associated with taking disability days; and physically demanding work was related to absence from work in the past week”. This study also tells that the ratio of men higher women. There are many evidences prove that the rate absence from work and longitudinal higher because of effects of work stress. Moreover, people maybe reduced activities at work, disability days or being out of labor force two years later. Stress will reduce job performance, increase burnout, turnover intention, job satisfaction and lot of related effects.
In addition, stress and burnout are pretty closely linked. Burnout “is one of the consistent emotional pressure from the immediate environment which enforces an individual to lose all the energy, motivation and commitment to carry on a task satisfactorily. It is an immense reaction towards pressure arising from the role conflicts and job demand conflicts and its influence can be observed in the

employees’ physical and psychological distress. It is observed mostly as the end result of heavy demanding jobs across various fields like real estate, nursing, finance, teaching, risk management etc. Burnout and turnover have a significant positive relationship with job stress” (as cited in Shaikh, 2013).
The biggest impact of stress is increase turnover intention. Researches described it as employees leave their jobs. The old staffs have many skills, experiences and knowledge. If they leave their jobs, the banks must pay a lot of extra cost to recruit, select new staff, training. The old staffs work under high-pressure will leave their jobs and find another jobs. New employees also work under high pressure. Because they must spent a lot of time to study new regulations, accumulate experiences and adapt with new environment.
There are reports discuss about the relationship between job satisfaction and stress.
The job satisfaction will lower if the lever of stress higher. The benefit of organizations will be higher if the employees satisfied with their job and perform well. They are much satisfied with their jobs only if they have lower stress. Job satisfaction is the critical feeling about different facets of job and normally originated from the past events.
Similarly, Shaikh (2013) also suggested that high physiological stress triggered job dissatisfaction however psychological stress was not found to have any impact on job satisfaction. This theory says that “a person high at self-efficacy will be able tomanage emotions and control the negative cognitive thoughts effectively which in turn will create a sound and satisfied wellbeing with better emotional and physical health”.
