(1)Unit 10 endangered species Period : 80 A Reading Date : January 15th A Objectives I Knowledge - General knowledge: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to: - Know more about the African Rhinos and Asian Rhinos - Know how to protect and save African Rhinos and Asian Rhinos - Language: Common knowledge of environment,… - New words: Words related to the topic (endangered animals,plants ) II.Skill - Guessing meaning in context, scanning for specific information and passage comprehension B.Procedures I.Settlement - Greeting and checking attendance II.Checking - Teacher asks a pupil to translate the first paragraph of the unit into vietnamese III New lesson Teacher’s activities Warm-up: (5 minutes) Aims: to introduce the topic of the lesson and to raise students' interest - T hang out some pictures in and asks Ss to answer the questions what you see in the pictures? Which of them are in danger of becoming extinct?
