Lời giới thiệu

Đổi mới phương pháp dạy học là yêu cầu quan trọng nhằm nâng cao chất lượng giáo dục, phản ánh chủ trương của Đảng và Nhà nước Sự thay đổi này đang được triển khai trên toàn quốc và nhận được sự hưởng ứng tích cực từ đội ngũ giáo viên và cán bộ giáo dục.

Chương trình đổi mới phương pháp dạy học trong ngành giáo dục tập trung vào việc lấy học sinh làm trung tâm, nhằm phát huy tính tích cực, tự giác, chủ động và tư duy sáng tạo của người học Theo Luật giáo dục năm 2005, mục tiêu là bồi dưỡng năng lực tự học, khả năng thực hành, lòng say mê học tập và ý chí vươn lên của học sinh.

Tiếng Anh đang ngày càng trở nên quan trọng trong thời kỳ đổi mới và hội nhập, không chỉ là môn học ở trường mà còn là công cụ giao tiếp hữu ích Việc nắm vững ngữ pháp và cách sử dụng tiếng Anh là cần thiết để thực hiện tốt các bài tập và giao tiếp hiệu quả trong các tình huống khác nhau.

Do vậy, tôi viết SKKN này sau khi đã thực hiện dạy bài 2 tiếng Anh 11 sách thí điểm.

Sáng kiến này có thể được áp dụng trong giảng dạy linking verbs ở bài 2 sách Tiếng Anh 11, các đề kiểm tra, đề thi có mảng kiến thức liên quan.

Sáng kiến được thực hiện với học sinh 11D2 tại trường THPT Nguyễn

Viết Xuân vào ngày 01 tháng 10 năm 2018.

Mô tả bản chất của sáng kiến

- Về nội dung của sáng kiến:

Sáng kiến này được thực hiện khi giảng dạy Unit 2 sách tiếng Anh 11 chương trình thí điểm với các bước như sau:

Bước 1: Lên ý tưởng, tìm tài liệu hỗ trợ về lý thuyết, bài tập áp dụng.

Bước 2: Xây dựng kế hoạch thực hiện bài học.

Bước 3: Thực hiện dự án.

Giáo viên bắt đầu bài học bằng cách giới thiệu nội dung chính, sau đó chia học sinh thành các cặp để thảo luận và thực hiện các hoạt động đã được thiết kế trong bài học.

+ Học sinh thực hành theo cặp với các tình huống đã cho trong handout Học sinh làm các bài tập kèm theo ở phần kiến thức bổ trợ.

Bước 4: Đánh giá sản phẩm

Giáo viên và học sinh đánh giá kết quả bài học và rút kinh nghiệm dưới hình thức trao đổi, bổ sung, góp ý.

LINKING VERBS – LIÊN ĐỘNG TỪ

- Linking verb dùng khi nối chủ ngữ và vị ngữ (vị ngữ là một tính từ) để chỉ tình trạng của đồ vật, người hay sự việc nào đó.

Có một nhóm động từ đặc biệt gọi là liên động từ, có chức năng nối giữa chủ ngữ và vị ngữ tính từ Những động từ này không thể hiện hành động và thường được bổ nghĩa bởi tính từ, không phải phó từ Các liên động từ bao gồm: appear, be, become, feel, look, remain, seem, smell, sound, stay và taste.

Ex5: When my dog Oreo felt the wet grass beneath her paws, she bolted up the stairs and curled up on the couch.

(Oreo is the wet grass? Of course not! Here, then, felt is an action verb, something Oreo is doing.)

Ex6: My dog Oreo feels depressed after seven straight days of rain.

(Oreo is depressed? Without a doubt! Oreo hates the wet.)

This substitution will not work for appear With appear , you have to analyze the function of the verb.

Ex7: Swooping out of the clear blue sky, the blue jay appeared on the branch.

( Appear is something a blue jay can do—especially when food is near.)

Ex8: The blue jay appeared happy to see the bird feeder.

(Here, appeared is connecting the subject, the blue jay , to its state of mind, happiness.)

In English, various verbs can convey states of being or sensory perceptions, enhancing our descriptions For instance, "be" indicates existence, as in "I am hungry," while "seem" suggests an appearance, such as "She seems nervous." The verb "appear" can reveal unexpected reactions, exemplified by "She didn't appear at all surprised at the news." Transition verbs like "come" and "become" highlight change, as in "My dream finally came true" and "He’s become a new star after the contest." The verb "grow" reflects gradual change, illustrated by "She grows prettier every day." Additionally, "prove" indicates outcomes, as in "The test proved too difficult for most students in the class," whereas "remain" and "stay" denote constancy, like "He remains the kind man he always was" and "The room stayed cool two hours after the air conditioner was turned off." Sensory verbs such as "look," "smell," "sound," "taste," and "feel" enrich our language, with examples like "The pie looked delicious," "The flower smelled sweet," "The idea sounds interesting," "The pie tasted delicious," and "I felt so wonderful."

Tiếng Anh không chỉ là một ngôn ngữ đẹp mà còn mang trong mình nhiều nét văn hóa đặc sắc từ các quốc gia khác nhau Nếu bạn thật sự yêu thích và đam mê học tiếng Anh, tôi tin rằng bạn sẽ nhanh chóng thành thạo ngôn ngữ này Hãy chăm chút cho cách sử dụng tiếng Anh từ những kiến thức nhỏ bé để khám phá vẻ đẹp của ngôn ngữ này.

Giáo viên cần chuẩn bị đầy đủ các điều kiện cần thiết cho một giờ giảng, bao gồm soạn giáo án bằng Word, chuẩn bị tài liệu bổ trợ và tài liệu tham khảo, cùng với handouts, máy tính và máy chiếu để đảm bảo buổi học diễn ra hiệu quả.

Học sinh nên được thầy cô hướng dẫn rõ ràng về mục tiêu bài học và chuẩn bị bài trước khi đến lớp Việc chia cặp học sinh và phân công nhiệm vụ cụ thể cho từng bài học sẽ giúp nâng cao hiệu quả học tập.

Vốn từ vựng và kiến thức chung là yếu tố thiết yếu cho mọi người, đặc biệt là học sinh Việc kết hợp kiến thức hiện có với tư duy tích cực thông qua thảo luận nhóm và cặp trong giờ học nói là rất quan trọng.

Lồng ghép nội dung cần thiết vào chương trình học đang trở thành xu hướng trong giáo dục hiện nay Việc học sinh nắm vững kiến thức và thành thạo ngôn ngữ sẽ giúp các em tự tin hơn trong học tập Chuẩn bị kỹ lưỡng cho mỗi bài giảng không chỉ giúp tôi tư duy sâu hơn mà còn tạo cơ hội để khám phá, học hỏi và phát triển ý tưởng sáng tạo, từ đó mang đến những giờ học hấp dẫn hơn cho học sinh.

Khi học sinh hiểu rõ bản chất của vấn đề, họ sẽ tiếp thu kiến thức một cách sâu sắc hơn và cảm thấy hứng thú hơn với bài giảng Điều này tạo ra một giờ học sôi nổi và hiệu quả, nơi học sinh được hoạt động và trở thành trung tâm của giờ học Các em tích cực thảo luận và mạnh dạn bày tỏ quan điểm cá nhân.

Hy vọng rằng những kiến thức được chia sẻ sẽ cung cấp cho đồng nghiệp một tài liệu đáng tin cậy để tham khảo, đồng thời giúp học sinh tiếp cận một nguồn kiến thức rõ ràng và đầy đủ, từ đó nâng cao sự tự tin của các em trong việc học tập.
