Đại từ nhân xưng (Personal pronouns)

 Đại từ nhân xưng được dùng để xưng hô khi giao tiếp

 Gồm 3 ngôi (ngôi I, ngôi II, ngôi III) và có 8 đại từ:

Ngôi Số ít Số nhiều

Ngôi thứ I (người nói) I (tôi/mình/ ta/ tớ/…) we (chúng tôi/ chúng ta/…) Ngôi thứ II (người nghe) you (bạn/ anh/ chị/ em/…) you (các bạn/ anh/ chị/ em/…)

Ngôi thứ III trong tiếng Việt bao gồm các đại từ chỉ người và vật như "she" (chị/bà/cô ấy), "he" (anh/ông/chú ấy), "it" (nó/thứ đó/vật đó) và "they" (họ/chúng nó/những vật đó) Những đại từ này được sử dụng để thay thế cho danh từ, giúp câu văn trở nên mạch lạc và dễ hiểu hơn.

Thì hiện tại đơn (Present simple)

Thì hiện tại đơn của động từ TO BE (The present simple tense of TO BE)

BE) a) Thể khẳng định: (+) Động từ to be (am, is, are) được chia theo các đại từ nhân xưng: b) Thể phủ định: (–)

Thêm NOT sau động từ to be

I am => I’m I am not => I’m not (I ain’t)

He is => He’s He is not =>He isn’t (He’s not)

She is => She’s She is not =>She isn’t (She’s not)

It is => It’s It is not =>It isn’t (It’s not)

We are => We’re We are not =>We aren’t (We’re not)

You are => You’re You are not =>You aren’t (You’re not)

They are => They’re They are not ==>They aren’t

Muốn đặt câu hỏi, đưa “to be” lên trước đại từ nhân xưng:

Am I … ? Trả lời: Yes, you are/No, you are not

Is she … ? Yes, she is/No, she is not

Is he … ? Yes, he is/No, he is not

Is it … ? Yes, it is/No, it is not

Are they … ? Yes, they are/No, they are not

Are we … ? Yes, we are/No, we are not

Are you … ? Yes, I am/No, I am not.

Số nhiều I/We/You/They

Phủ định (-) S + does NOT + V-inf + O S + do NOT + V-inf + O

 Yes, he/she/it does

 No, he/she/it doesn’t

 Yes, I/we/you/they do

Dấu hiệu nhận biết

Trong câu có các trạng từ chỉ thời gian:

 every day/night/week/year…

 in the morning/afternoon/evening…

Cách đổi câu từ số ít => số nhiều

Đổi đại từ

He/She/It (anh/chị/em/nó) They (họ/chúng nó)

You (bạn) You (các bạn)

This (cái này) These (những cái này)

That (cái kia) Those (những cái kia)

Đổi động từ “to be”

Để chuyển câu từ số ít sang số nhiều, việc thay đổi chủ từ và điều chỉnh động từ cho phù hợp là những bước cơ bản cần thực hiện.

Số ít Số nhiều am/is are

Đổi danh từ số ít sang danh từ số nhiều

Muốn chuyển danh từ số ít sang số nhiều thì thêm “s” hoặc “es” vào đằng sau từ Lưu ý, bỏ a/an khi chuyển sang số nhiều

He is a student => They are students.

Đại từ sở hữu (Possessive pronouns)

Là những đại từ dùng để chỉ sự sở hữu Ví dụ:

His watch is expensive Mine is cheap

Vì cũng là một loại đại từ nên đại từ sở hữu có thể đứng ở các vị trí sau:

 Đứng làm chủ ngữ (Subject) Ví dụ: His watch is expensive Mine is cheap

 Đứng làm tân ngữ (Object) Ví dụ: He bought his watch a week ago I bought mine 2 days ago

Possessive pronouns are often used in prepositional phrases For example, in the sentence "I could tackle her issue easily, but I don’t know what to do with mine," the possessive pronouns "her" and "mine" clearly indicate ownership and differentiate between the issues being discussed.

Mine Của tôi Your ring is not as lovely as mine

Hers Của cô ấy I can’t find my lipstick so I use hers

Its Của nó The football team is proud of its ability to perform

Theirs Của họ If you don’t have a hat, you can borrow theirs

Tính từ sở hữu (Possessive adjective)

Tính từ sở hữu được sử dụng trước danh từ để chỉ quyền sở hữu, giúp xác định ai là người sở hữu danh từ đó Chúng đóng vai trò bổ nghĩa cho danh từ và có mối quan hệ tương ứng với các đại từ nhân xưng.

Câu hỏi Wh- & Câu hỏi Yes/No (Wh- question & Yes/No question)

Wh-question

Câu hỏi bắt đầu bằng Wh- được sử dụng để thu thập thông tin về người, sự vật hoặc sự việc Để thành lập câu hỏi với từ hỏi Wh-, cần tuân theo cấu trúc cụ thể nhằm đảm bảo tính rõ ràng và chính xác trong giao tiếp.

/How/Whom/Where/… does he/she/it + V- inf + O do I/we/they/you + V- inf + O

Câu hỏi bắt đầu bằng các từ nghi vấn được liệt kê trong bảng sau:

Why tại sao hỏi lý do Why did you do that?

What time mấy giờ hỏi giờ/thời gian làm việc gì đó What time is it?

Which cái nào/người nào hỏi lựa chọn Which color do you like?

Cách sử dụng từ "how" trong tiếng Anh để hỏi về phương thức, trạng thái hoặc hoàn cảnh rất quan trọng Ví dụ, câu hỏi "How does this work?" (Cái này hoạt động như thế nào?) giúp tìm hiểu cách thức hoạt động của một sự vật Tương tự, câu hỏi "How many" được dùng để hỏi về số lượng, như trong câu "How many books are there?" (Có bao nhiêu cuốn sách?) Việc nắm vững cách sử dụng này sẽ giúp cải thiện khả năng giao tiếp hiệu quả.

Câu hỏi dạng đảo tiếp tục được chia làm 2 dạng: câu hỏi xác định và câu hỏi phủ định Cách thành lập câu hỏi này như sau:

Khi người nói mong đợi người nghe đồng ý với mình

Tính từ mô tả

Dùng để diễn tả diện mạo và tính cách của con người, tính chất của sự vật, sự việc

Tính từ miêu tả Ví dụ

Diện mạo, bề ngoài beautiful, pretty, gorgeous, slim, skinny…

Kích thước, hình dạng big, small, giant,…

Tính cách active, friendly, lazy,…

Trạng thái cảm xúc happy, sad,…

Màu sắc red, green, blue,…

Tính từ có nhiều chức năng và vị trí khác nhau trong câu Trong chương trình tiếng Anh lớp 8, học sinh sẽ tập trung vào ba vị trí thường gặp của tính từ.

Tính từ trong câu thường đứng sau động từ "to be" để bổ nghĩa cho chủ ngữ, ví dụ: "My school is big." Ngoài ra, tính từ cũng có thể đứng sau động từ "to be" để bổ nghĩa cho danh từ đứng ngay trước nó.

Questions that begin with interrogative words such as when, why, what, who, which, and how follow specific rules Firstly, if there is no auxiliary verb present, you must use an auxiliary verb like do, does, or did Secondly, if an auxiliary verb is already available (such as am, is, are, can, will, shall, could, would, have, has, or had), it should be inverted and placed before the subject, eliminating the need for do, does, or did Additionally, it is important to familiarize yourself with various interrogative words used in questioning.
