Eligibility 申請資格
(1) Identity and Nationality 身分與國籍規定
Foreign nationals applying for studies in Taiwan must not have previously held Chinese overseas student status and must adhere to the Taiwan Ministry of Education's "Regulations Regarding International Students Undertaking Studies in Taiwan" and other relevant regulations For further information, please consult Appendix 1.
Foreign nationals who do not qualify as overseas Chinese students at the time of application must meet the regulations outlined by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of China (Taiwan) regarding foreign students studying in Taiwan, as well as other relevant guidelines.
(2) Educational/Academic Qualifications 學歷規定
Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree accredited by the Ministry of Education (MoE) or be graduating students from MoE accredited programs in 2022 For a comprehensive list of recognized foreign universities, please refer to the MoE's official publication at [this link](https://bit.ly/2X5K9aI).

Length of Study 修業年限
According to the regulations of Taipei Medical University (TMU), Master's programs must be completed within a timeframe of 1 to 4 years from the year of initial enrollment However, any approved leave of absence will not be included in this total duration In cases where significant disasters impact a student's ability to study, and they have not completed the required credits by the end of the designated period, an extension may be granted with special approval from the university president.

The 2022 admissions process at TMU is set to proceed as planned, with any updates available on the Office of Global Engagement website All times mentioned are in Taiwan Time (GMT+8), and non-compliance with the outlined procedures will lead to automatic disqualification.

Each applicant may apply for a maximum of two degree programs If accepted into both, the applicant can only choose one program to enroll in and attend.

To successfully apply for a degree program, you must submit essential academic documents, including a copy of your degree certificate or diploma, an official transcript detailing your grades and courses, and any other required documentation specific to the admission qualifications of the department you are applying to.

Interview 面試
All interviews are conducted online using a virtual meeting platform Selected applicants will receive notifications regarding the date, time, and additional details through the TMU admission system In-person or phone interviews are uncommon and only occur in exceptional circumstances, with notifications provided by the respective program if applicable.

(1) Applicants can log onto the TMU admission system to check their application and scholarship results at the date and time designated by the University
Applicants can check the admission results and the awards for college-level scholarships in our school's admission application system starting from the date the results are announced.
Admitted students must confirm their acceptance via the TMU admission system by the specified deadline; otherwise, their admission and scholarship offer will be considered rejected.

(3) If the applicant has been expelled from a higher education institution in Taiwan due to one of the following reasons, then they are no longer eligible for enrollment:

C having been sentenced in a criminal case
Foreign applicants who have previously enrolled in a university in Taiwan and were dismissed due to poor conduct, unsatisfactory academic performance, or criminal convictions resulting in a definitive sentence are not eligible to apply for admission again under this guideline.
