Corecting the first term test I. Aims:
By the end of the lesson, ss will be able to find out their mistakes from their test and correct it; consolidate their knowledge from unit one to unit eight.
- Teaching aids: extra board - Anticipated problems.
II. Content:
1. Teacher's remark about the test.
- The test is suitable with ss.
- Most of ss did the test quite well.
- Some ss have mistakes in pronunciation ,in using the correct form of verbs; especilly, in the interogative form.There are some mistakes in answering Yes/ No question and Wh- question
- There are / 92 ss from 8 to 10 mark, ss have 7 marks, ss from5 to 6 marks; ss under 5 marks.
2. Ss remark about paper.
-Call some ss tell about their test.
For example: It is long(short).It is easy or difficult...
- Ss run through the test and look for mistakes.
- Get ss to think about their mistakes - Ss check how teacher remarks their test.
3. Correct mistakes:
- The way to correct: Call ss read each sentense and correct - Ask them to tell why or why not chooseor not use...
- Part reading : One reads question, other answers.
- Note weak ss and ss have mistakes.
