Ways of working: whole class, pairs, individual CONTENT:
1. Warm up: Careless carrie: Draw a picture of Careless carrie.
Remind them of the word " Careless ". Tell Careless carrie does bad things to the environment. Gets ss to tell you what she does( brain storm_ turn general
ideas into specific ones about carrie: ss " dynamite fishing" - Carrie goes fishing with dynamite and kill many fish"). Make sure you have 6 - different
ideas on the board.
2. Pre-speaking: Tell ss they are going to try convince Careless Carrie to change her bad habits. Put the poster on the board and run through each line as you go.
Get ss to repeat it with you, but only a few time. Note: Careless Carrie can sound angry or annoyed for fun !
