1 The purpose of the report

Business information systems and processes are vital to the success of a company because they are the foundation of all other elements of the business Management information system helps the company to overcome the limitations when they access a huge number of customers worldwide in different regions

One of the successful names in the digital transformation process is Biti's, Vietnam's "national" footwear manufacturing enterprise Covering everything from production to retail, each year, Biti's produces about 20 million pairs of shoes With such a large number of orders, we encounter many difficulties in managing inventory orders, tracking orders, and assigning work to each branch leading to the updating of late product information for customers Thus, customers experience delays, late deliveries, imbalances in business processes, reduced operational efficiency, and many other difficulties

Therefore, the purpose of this report is to study the core business processes of Bitis and come up with innovative solutions by modifying the existing business processes and using information systems/software From there, we have an overview of the company's business operations and the actual situation, as well as the job duties of the employees In addition, the process model also supports the implementation of plans within a team, enhances organizational cohesion, improves sales, and provides the best buying experience to our customers

IL Company background

Biti’s often referred to as the Van Thanh collaboration, was established in 1982 by Mr and Mrs Vuu

Khai Thanh With only 20 employees when it first opened, Biti’s designs and manufactures are intended for both domestic and overseas mass markets Biti's is Vietnam's No | footwear brand, producing and retailing shoes and maintaining its status via high-quality products Biti's is not only

a footwear brand with a 40-year history, but it also contributes significantly to Vietnam's economic growth

Biti's company is currently interested in developing a long-term and sustainable investment strategy with the mindset of "Creativity for the mission of survival and development of the company." Decided to build a vision and affirm its appearance to develop Binh Tien Production and Co., Ltd into a powerful business that maintains its leadership position both domestically and internationally leading in Vietnam and actively integrating internationally, becoming a strong consumer goods manufacturing company in Asia

By using it, businesses can obtain a deeper understanding of their overall business model, identify areas for improvement, and develop new strategies for growth One of the key advantages of the BMC format is that it is highly visual When used properly, it allows businesses to produce a business model display that is consistent with the overall value proposition and strategic business objectives

The nine BMC building blocks were initially introduced by Alexander Osterwalder in 2005:

Customers order: Customers can place orders through the website, e-commerce sites such as Shopee, Lazada, TikTok, or call the company's switchboard When ordering, customers need to provide information such as name, address, phone number, shoe type, quantity, color and payment method

Order receiving information system: The information system will receive customer orders and send notifications to the sales department

Sales department confirms order: The sales department will check the order and confirm with the customer the delivery time

Warehouse department: After confirming the order, the information system will check whether there is enough stock or not If there is enough, the product will be delivered If there is not enough stock, the system will automatically cancel orders and inform customers

Freight transportation: Goods will be transported to the delivery location according to the method chosen by the customer Information about shipping schedules will be updated in the information system and notified to customers
