University)", Nikolaeva str 44, Vladikavka,z 362021, Russia Abstract Taking into consideration high materials consumption and, as a result, a great variety of equipment in construction, the construction equipment selection and its operation duration is of great importance for the efficient work of both a separate construction union and the whole construction complex [1 – 12] To decide the problem a special methodics and software product allowing to evaluate the efficient use of the construction equipment during the whole life cycle is recommended [13 – 15] The machinery life cycle curves analysis based on the calculation of the integral criteria helps to carry out visual comparison of the exploitation efficiency, to make reasonable decisions concerning the purchasing of the equipment In terms of the difficult financial situation and total investment fall, this selection problem requires the search and choice of the * Corresponding author E-mail address: reasonable sample selection is considered to be very topical The problem of the most efficient equipment selection and its optimal duration period is discussed in [6], [7], [13], [14], [15], [17], [18] But the researchers` designs reed thorough detailization and refinement Methodics The construction equipment plays an important role in the production efficiency increase That`s why the scientific research should be directed to the study of its life cycles operation The graphic – analytical model comprising the peculiarities and the object behavior prediction is recommended herein [13 – 15], Pareto`s Law says that there is vitally important minority and trivial majority in each group or complex But nothing really important takes place until the vitally important minority is concerned [19, 20] The problem analysis allowed to formulates the task which is based on the study of various operation stages The results dynamics and time costs during the whole life cycle the equipment working – out effects marking the critical points (pay back period, maximal profit obtaining period etc) are necessary for the task decision [13], [14] Fig Structure and elements of life the effects may be both positive and negative at various exploitation stages The efficiency of the specific items of equipment use can be expressed in the relation of the total costs to the total results determined taking into account the discounting It is quite obvious, that the samples will have various periods of payback, exploitation, and investments The suggested methodics allows carrying out the equipment life cycle evaluation, providing the real possibility for the best option So a customer has a chance of the true option selection [13 – 15] The total profit obtained during the whole – cost and self – cost of the machinery hours unit, determined in view of the forecast prices affected by the inflation;  ୲ – total bulk of the machinery hours at the end of the t- step The way of its calculation depends on the peculiarities of the machinery: being different for the cranes, autocars, the excavators and others That is determination considers the work specification For the digging hour; – ୱ – shift duration in hours;  ୲ – amount of useful working days per a year – ୡ – cycle duration in seconds; ୡ – bucket capacity in m3;  ୭ୡ – coefficient of bucket occupancy; ˍ୲ – coefficient of the excavator duration use; ˍ୰ୣ୪ - coefficient of the work reliability;  ୪ୱ - coefficient of loosening the soil The equipment life cycles curves visually compare the efficiency of the construction equipment items during the complete or partial operation To analize the life cycle one should use several logs values characterizing time periods of the critical points appearance; time of machinery purchase; costs payout on machinery purchase; economically expedient operation; economically possible operation Calculating the correlation of various logs, one can obtain the comparative efficiency of the machinery life cycles The most effective option is determined comparing the maximal total values of the economic effects per the time of their delivery: Results The researches resulted in the software product development, which interface is presented in Fig The software product represents a window application for the operational system Windows, supporting versions Windows |8| 8.1|10 Zalina tape” and tabs There are buttons on the “tape” (Fig.3) Fig Menu Tape The button “Calculation” conducts the main operations for calculation and the graph plotting with the results The button “Clean” fulfils memory clearance and is useful in case of errors during calculation The button “output” interrupts the application work and closes it Also the window contains tabs containing identical fields for input To carry out calculation, the field on both tabs must be filled in as the program compares types of construction equipment hence the information for both machines is required 1187 1188 machine no – failure work with a gap The number of these coefficients must correspond to the years in the field of the useful period operation After all the fields have been field in on both tabs, the user must press the button “calculation” (Fig.3) the program will calculate, put down all the necessary data into Microsoft Excel and will plot a graph (Fig.4) Fig.4 Calculation Results Only office reasonable decisions concerning the construction equipment items selection, one should follow the predicted operation bulks for perspective The more accurate prediction is, the higher the optimal decision selection will be in terms on purchase, operation or sale of the construction equipment item That`s why the software product development acquires a great practical value as the calculations require much labour consumption The developeds software product allows to carry out the Multioptional, reasonable approach to the construction equipment selection problem with various price points and Conclusions Under modern conditions of the construction companies operation in terms of the modern crisis and competition, the construction works mechanization becomes actual The construction equipment operation efficiency must be evaluated and taken into consideration The suggested methodics and the developed software product for the substantiated selection of the construction equipment, considering its life cycle, operation conditions makes visual comparison and after the careful analysis to make decision concerning the main trends of the construction machinery operation
